Goshen Clay Artists Guild
The Goshen Clay Artists Guild was formed in 1998 when a group of local artists with varying degrees of expertise decided to join together and share studio space, ideas, and techniques. We grew steadily and in 2004 we had a building constructed at 212 W. Washington St., Goshen.

Expert Instructors
Classes are taught by Guild members with extensive knowledge of clay and teaching. Classes are fun and instructive for potters at every level. Beginners are welcome.

Four classes are held every year in our studio space. Students attend a 3-hour class on Tuesday evenings and have the option of an additional 3-hours of studio time on Thursdays.
Classes last for 12 weeks and typically begin in January, April, July, and September.

Students have the opportunity to explore a variety of clay styles including wheel work, hand building, and other special techniques.
During their class, participants will learn about clay bodies, glazing techniques, and firing.

Classes are beneficial for those who are new to clay, those who wish to get back into working with clay, and those who wish to build upon their past experience.
Classes are limited to 12 students and are intended for adults (17 years or older).
